YOURJIMBFF is a fitness and nutrition coaching app. Using it means you agree to what is on this page and to the Privacy Policy.
You need to be 18 or older.
Nothing in this app is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Yusuf is a fitness coach. Jim, who you talk to in the app, is software.
Talk to a doctor before you start training or change how you eat — particularly if you are pregnant, carrying an injury, or living with any condition at all. If something hurts, stop.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not message the app.
You train and you eat at your own risk, and you are the one who decides what to do with anything said here.
Calories and macros worked out from a description, a photo or a label are estimates produced by software. They are good enough to keep you consistent, which is what they are for.
They are not measurements. Do not rely on them where precision genuinely matters — counting carbohydrate for insulin, for instance. Read the real label when it counts.
Your email and password are yours, as is the access code on an older account. Do not share them and do not use anybody else’s. Whatever happens on your account is treated as you.
Do not try to reach other people’s data, and do not attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the app. An account doing that gets closed.
You can log your first meal before you pay. After that, Jim BFF is $30 a month or $199 a year, paid on Stripe’s own page. The monthly plan starts with 30 days free: your card is taken when you start, and nothing is charged if you cancel within those 30 days. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time by emailing yusuf@yourjimbff.com. You keep the app until the end of the time you paid for.
The yearly plan comes with two 30-minute calls or one hour with Yusuf, your choice. The calls happen off the app.
Money back: track every day for a year, and if you still hate it, you get every dollar back. Apart from that, fees for time already started are not usually refunded. Ask anyway. Yusuf is a person.
Your logs, your writing and your photos are yours. By using the app you give permission to store them and to process them for the purpose of coaching you, including sending them to the services named in the Privacy Policy.
Your progress photos are never shown to anybody, used in marketing or posted anywhere unless you have said yes to that specific use, in writing, first.
The app itself — the software, the design, the programmes — stays Yusuf’s.
You can stop whenever you like, and you can delete everything yourself from Settings.
Yusuf can close an account that is abusing the app or another person.
The app is provided as it is. It will have bugs, it will sometimes be down, and a number in it will sometimes be wrong.
To the fullest extent the law allows, YOURJIMBFF is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability is limited to what you have paid in the previous three months.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
A material change brings this screen back and you will be asked again.
